BOOK WITH CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA WITH OUR TRAVEL AGENCY
Central America and South AmericaIn Central America, we mostly send people to parts of Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Honduras and Panama. South America is an exciting destination where people frequently visit multiple countries. Cruises mostly go from Chile to Argentina plus Brazil including the Amazon River. Here in Florida, we sell a lot of Cancun and Riviera Maya. It is close by, has cheap all-inclusive resorts and plenty of flights. Cruise ships call on Cozumel and Costa Maya Mexico too. Belize, Roatan (Honduras), Panama (including the canal) and Costa Rica round out the Central American Cruise Ports. We also book a lot of Costa Rica. Both beach vacations and ecotourism including the cloud forest and Arenal. The beach vacations are small hotels near Jaco and all inclusives at Guanacaste. Belize is mostly fishing and diving on the barrier reef. Panama has some new all-inclusive resorts and all of Central America has varying levels of eco tourism but some countries in Central America are not safe at the current time.Cruising in South America is mostly from Buenos Aires to Santiago Chile. Some departures will cruise by Antarctica and others do Faulkland Islands and through the Straights of Magellan. Chilean Fjords (Patagonia) are beautiful and all of these departures sail that area. We also have clients frequently sail up the Amazon River to Manaus. These are long cruises that require vaccinations including a once a year odyssey that usually leaves from Fort Lauderdale in the winter. Rounding out the cruise offerings is Galapagos but those are expedition boats that you fly to from Quito Ecuador. These are more expensive adventure vacations where you may have wet foot landings and snorkeling opportunities. There are also upscale smaller expedition boats that sail the upper Amazon River for exploration.Land tours in South America frequently include intra-tour flights between countries. Buenos Aires is the Paris of South America. That is often combined with Iguassu Falls and Rio Di Janiero for a one week itinerary. Macchu Picchu is also one of the things that is on many people’s bucket lists but the altitude can be a problem for some people. It takes at least a 4 or 5 day add-on to do that properly. Many times Galapagos and Macchu Picchu are combined into one trip. Chile and Argentina have a wine country and many adventure tours go into Patagonia on the land side of the Chilean Fjords. Our tour operator experience helps us to understand the various components in these complicated itineraries. We are familiar with most all-inclusive chains in the Caribbean that also have locations in Central America. Our escorted tour companies have great tours that take the work out of movements in this part of the world with pre-arranged flights and transportation all with English speaking employees. We offer all of the cruise lines that sail into Central and South America plus we can combine airfare with cruises and pre or post packages to give you those extra days to soak up the cruise departure port.
