Carnival Cruise Lines from Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral rapidly becoming one of the hottest cruise ports in Florida. It is very
convenient to Tampa and very convenient for the ships to get out to sea. Carnival Valor
does 3 and 4 night sailings to the Bahamas. 3 nights go to Nassau and 4 nights go to
Nassau and Grand Bahama Island (Freeport). Carnival also has the Carnival Magic
deployed to Port Canaveral Year Round. Carnival Magic will do 7 night Eastern and
Western Caribbean this winter. Next summer Magic will sail on 6 and 8 night sailings with
the extra night allowing the addition of exciting ports like St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean
plus other sailings to Aruba and Curacao. This winter, Carnival will have a third ship in
Port Canaveral, The Carnival Sunshine. We sailed on the Sunshine and can report she is
110,000 tons of FUN. She has a huge serenity area up on the front and a whole party for
the kids out back with water slides, games and a rope course. It is an interesting chance
for everyone to check out the Carnival Sunshine as she is doing a varied itinerary of 5
night Bahamas and 8 night Eastern and Southern Caribbean.
Port Canaveral is about 2-3 hours from most Tampa Bay clients. It is an easy drive on
highways directly to the pier. Parking is very convenient to the ships for about $16 per day
and operated by the Port Authority. We do sell some “fly-out” hotels where you can stay
one night a get parking and a ride to the port along with the room.

South Florida always gets the newest and biggest ships in Florida. Carnival Vista is the
newest creation in the Carnival Line and they have taken Fun to a whole new level. Vista will
be doing six and eight night Eastern Caribbean with all of the Carnival 2.0 features including
that great Havana Bar. With special balcony cabins and suites this will be a great ship for
family reunions and groups. In addition to Carnival Vista, Carnival will have a Tampa favorite,
the Carnival Sensation doing the 4 and 5 night. The 5 night is popular as it is one of the few
Carnival ships that calls on Jamaica and Key West on a shorter cruise. Carnival Glory will do
7 night Eastern and Western Caribbean. Splendor will vary by the season with 6 and 8 night
Eastern Caribbean or 7 night Eastern and Western rotation. Victory will round out the Miami
deployment sailing 3 and 4 night Bahamas.
This year Carnival Conquest will sail out of Ft. Lauderdale year-round with 6 night Western
Caribbean and 8 Night Exotic Eastern Caribbean. Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale is a
pretty easy 3-4 hour ride from most of Tampa Bay and it is interstate across Aligator Alley
directly to the Port.
We do handle bookings for the Cruise Connection if you are heading to South Florida. Prices
are 90 to $100 Per Person Roundtrip for this reliable service across the State. Limited
Service operates in the winter time from Tampa area to Port Canaveral but this is only in the
