Honestly, we sell more China and Cruises when clients ask about Asia but we also have suppliers that handle all of the Asian continent including budget, cruises, river cruises and land tours. We even have sources for Asian independent travel. Most China Tours that we sell include 3 or 4 nights on the Yangtze River, Shanghai, Xian (for the Terra Cotta Warriors) and Beijing. The Great Wall of China is run as a daytrip out of Beijing. Hotels are very upscale in China. Usually people think they are half a star more than the rating and clients have described “six” star hotels upon their return. China requires a Visa and it is a cumbersome application, not simply a formality. China trips also add Guilin and Hong Kong depending on how many days you have. Because of the distances between towns, most tours include “inter-tour” air segments that are frequently group charters. Vietnam has become a hot spot for river cruising which is usually combined with Siem Reap Cambodia and can also add Thailand in some instances. Indian tourism is expanding and much of it is very upscale. Cruise ships call on multiple ports in Asia and have very varied itineraries.
