Three and Four night cruises can be taken for a few hundred dollars and many seven night cruises start at around $500. Cruise prices vary widely, but the mid June to mid August period can be twice as high as the off season “from” prices you will see. Even at the higher prices when the kids are out of school, these are good value for the money with 3 meals daily and transportation from your home port included.
Florida resorts have summer deals and we have traveled the state so we know the nice places that are only a couple of hours from Tampa. Much of west Florida is a special place and the East Coast beaches are fantastic plus we have the American Caribbean in the Florida Keys. People come from all over America to enjoy our beaches, eat the wonderful Florida seafood and enjoy the natural activities Florida has to offer. Beachfront 2 br condos can be had for $1500 a week and many will sleep six plus you can take advantage of the bar b ques an kitchen facilities to cut your vacation cost. Make it special with upgraded food choices like fresh fish and shrimp or fancy steaks to make it seem more resort style. 2 Nights near Disney/Universal can be had for a little more than $200 with a family suite and breakfast. Now the park tickets are another story but there are Florida resident specials on the tickets if you have a Florida driver’s license.
The Caribbean/Bahamas and Bermuda are an ever changing kaleidoscope. They are as multi cultured as the English, Spanish, French and Dutch explorers that settled the islands and they have a multitude of unique choices of activities, natural attractions and places to sit and do nothing as any region of the world that I have seen. Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Cancun/Riviera Maya sections of Mexico offer tremendous value in all-inclusive resorts. Right now airfare is more accessible to Jamaica or Mexico but we still get good values in the DR. More exotic destinations like St. Lucia or Turks and Caicos or Curacao offer a mix of all-inclusive or European Plan but the all-inclusive reflects a higher price with the wage rates of those countries. Bahamas is our closest neighbor and offers some pretty good deals in the spring, summer or fall. Even Atlantis offers special programs, Sandals have beautiful facilities in Nassau and now the out-islands in Great Exuma. Don’t overlook Grand Bahama Island for some deals if you are looking for low cost tourism. In the summer, even islands like St. Croix and St. Maarten get some deals and Puerto Rico has become an airfare hub to those nearby islands with the introduction of cheap airfares on Jet Blue or Airtran.
Nearby Cities like Miami, New Orleans, Washington DC, St. Augustine, Savannah or Charleston can be great for a couple of days away from home. We do car trips, plane trips with airport transfers and hotel accommodations. We handle rental cars, airplane tickets, hotels, airport transfers in most cities and even attractions, shows, tours and other amenities to round out a great vacation.
