Italy is a beautiful country filled with warm hearted people. The food is tremendous and very different from North to South. It is pretty easy to get around with a great public transportation system that includes fast and slow trains, busses to areas not served by the trains and a great road system.

Most of the cruise ships visit ports like Rome, Naples, Venice, Livorno (near Florence/Pisa) and even Messina where you can take a day trip to see Taormina (pictured above).
